I am Dr. Omar Zamarripa, graduated from the University of Guadalajara Medical School, later I continued my postgraduate studies at the University of Guanajuato, at the National Medical Center of Bajío, to complete the residency in General Surgery, I have current certification by the National Council of my specialty. I currently work in the private sector, and also in the public sector, at the Mexican Institute of Social Security, as an attending doctor and as a professor of the Surgery Course for Medical Internships and Surgical Residents, I have also a degree in Medical Education. I am passionate about hernia and laparoscopic surgery, I have had the opportunity to participate in different national and international courses and congresses with the main global surgery associations, and I currently perform the role of reviewer of scientific papers for the Mexican Association of General Surgery, AC.
